ViceChoices collects as little as it needs to run the guide and deliver Pro. We don't sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in, your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile Google shares (name and email).
- Purchase details. When you buy Pro we store your email, the Stripe checkout reference and your license key. Stripe handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
- Progress. If you're signed in, your story position and missables checklist so they sync across devices.
- Submissions. Tips or corrections you send, plus the optional handle you give.
- On your device. We use your browser's local storage and a first-party cookie to remember your free lookups, spoiler settings, progress and Pro license. These aren't used for tracking.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and abuse prevention.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers, and only share what each one needs to do its job:
- Stripe processes payments (Stripe privacy policy).
- Supabase stores accounts, licenses, progress and submissions.
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Google, only if you choose Google sign-in, and as an ad provider on free pages if ads are enabled. Google may use cookies to show ads. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Pro members don't see ads.
How long we keep it
We keep account and progress data while your account exists. We keep purchase records as long as needed for tax and accounting. When a purchase is refunded, its license is deleted.
Your choices
- You can use the free guide without an account.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing support@vicechoices.com. Deleting your account removes your synced progress.
- Clearing your browser storage removes the data kept on your device.
Children
Grand Theft Auto VI is rated for adults. ViceChoices is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
